Job summary
General Mills is offering a fast-paced, 18-month Manufacturing & Engineering Associate (MEA) full-time rotational program designed to develop technical and people leadership capabilities across processing, packaging and manufacturing systems. You'll gain frontline exposure to 24/7 production while solving problems and driving improvements in a dynamic environment.
MEAs are placed in a single plant for the duration, with potential relocation after program completion to a full-time leadership or
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering degree in: Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process, or Biological/Biosystems/Agricultural or related degree
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Milling Science, Food Science, or related degree
- Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
Responsibilities
- Building capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
- Gaining front line exposure to 24/7 production to leverage problem solving and learning agility while driving improvements and eliminating losses.
- Learning from and leading Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow coaching, team building and people-development skill set.
- Managing programs to gain experiences of capital project ownership, new system startups and / or initiative leadership.
