Job summary
General Mills seeks Manufacturing & Engineering Associates (MEA) for a full-time, 18-month rotational program designed to prepare you for technical and managerial leadership roles within the company. You will work across processing, packaging, and broad manufacturing systems, gaining hands-on experience in 24/7 production and driving improvements.
Graduates with engineering degrees (or milling/food science) will rotate within one plant location initially, with potential relocation.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process, or Biological/Biosystems/Agricultural or related field.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Milling Science, Food Science, or related degree for MEA Milling roles.
- Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
Responsibilities
- Build capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging, and broad manufacturing systems.
- Gain front line exposure to 24/7 production to drive improvements and reduce losses.
- Lead and coach Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to develop teamwork and leadership.
