General Mills is offering an 18‑month Manufacturing & Engineering Associate (MEA) rotational program designed to develop future leaders in manufacturing and engineering. Participants gain hands-on experience across processing, packaging, and manufacturing systems while rotating through a single plant before transitioning to a full‑time role.

The program emphasizes problem solving, staff mentorship, and ownership of capital projects, with placements at various nationwide plant locations.

Qualifications

Pursuing an engineering degree in a relevant field.
Graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 is expected.
Interest in manufacturing leadership and systems.

Responsibilities

Build capability through exposure to processing, packaging, and manufacturing systems.
Gain front-line experience in 24/7 production and drive improvements.
Learn from Operators, Technicians, and Mechanics to grow leadership skills.
Lead programs on capital projects, startups, or initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process, Biologically/Biosystems/Agricultural or related

Bachelor's or Master's in Milling Science, Food Science or related

Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
