General Mills is seeking Engineering graduates for the Manufacturing and Engineering Associate (MEA) program, a full-time 18-month rotational track designed to prepare you for technical and managerial leadership roles. You’ll gain exposure to processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems while working alongside Operators and Technicians to develop coaching and people leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Food Process, or Biological/Biosystems/Agricultural or related degree
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Milling Science, Food Science, or related degree
• Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027

Responsibilities

• Building capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
• Gaining front line exposure to 24/7 production to leverage problem solving and learning agility while driving improvements and eliminating losses.
• Learning from and leading Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow coaching, team building and people-development skill set.
• Managing programs to gain experiences of capital project ownership, new system startups and/or initiative leadership.
