Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer to manage rotating equipment at a plant, providing technical support and coordinating outages and modifications. The role collaborates with multiple departments to improve reliability and performance of steam turbines, pumps, and piping systems.

Responsibilities include guiding project execution, analyzing root causes, and reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in steam power plant operations.
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with the listed software applications is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to lead process teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to other departments on processes and projects.
• Lead and assist in project execution to meet budget and schedule.
• Coordinate contractors for testing and maintenance activities.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment health and read blueprints, schematics, and reports.
• Support outages planning, documentation, and backlog of work orders.
