Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of steam power plant operations experience or similar.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with engineering software and data interpretation (Excel, etc.).
• Proficiency with the listed tools (OSIsoft PI, AutoCAD, Maximo, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on processes, repairs, and projects.
• Lead and support project execution within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate contractors for testing and maintenance activities.
• Participate in root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment health through weekly meetings and data trends.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Maintain backlog of work orders and support outages as needed.
• Ensure compliance with permits and regulatory requirements.
