Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer to manage rotating equipment at the plant. The role reports to the Reliability and Performance Manager and emphasizes condition monitoring, planning, and execution of projects to improve reliability and performance of steam turbines, pumps, valves, piping, and auxiliaries.

The candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering degree, 5+ years in steam power plant operations, and strong skills in technical communication, diagram

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Minimum 5 years of steam power plant operations experience.
Preferred steam turbine experience.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to other departments on processes, repairs, and projects.
Lead and participate in outages planning and execution.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate contractors for testing and maintenance.
Develop budget considerations and manage project schedules.
