Job summary

Htprof in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment) to manage rotating equipment at the plant. This role reports to the Reliability and Performance Manager and involves planning, monitoring, and improving equipment reliability and performance.

The engineer will work across departments, support outages, and lead investigations while interpreting blueprints and technical reports. A strong background in steam systems and turbine plants is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in steam power plant operations.
• Preferred steam turbine experience.
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to other departments on processes, repairs, and projects.
• Lead project execution to maintain budget and schedule.
• Coordinate contractors for testing and maintenance.
• Assist and lead outages planning and execution.
• Support 5-year budget development for areas of expertise.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics.
