Software Placement Group in Morgantown, WV seeks a Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer to support plant reliability and performance. You will apply engineering principles to monitor equipment condition, lead cross-functional projects, and provide technical support across steam turbines, pumps, valves, piping and plant auxiliaries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in steam power plant operations.
Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to other departments on processes, repairs, and projects.
Lead project execution to maintain budget and schedule.
Coordinate contractors for testing and maintenance.
Lead outages planning to ensure scope and schedule control.
Monitor reliability issues and coordinate cross-department resolution.
