Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Preferred steam turbine experience and 5+ years in steam power plant operations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with teamwork ability.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience in design/maintenance tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated plant team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance across departments on processes, repairs, and projects.
• Participate in project development, evaluation of proposals, and material installation.
• Lead project execution to maintain budget and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate contractors for testing and maintenance activities.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor reliability and performance of rotating equipment and plant systems.
• Support outages with planning and execution to meet scope and budget.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings and interpret reports.
• Maintain backlog of assigned work orders and ensure regulatory compliance.
