Job summary

The Laura Hotel in Downtown Houston, operated by HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dedicated Room Service Associate to ensure exceptional guest experiences through timely food and beverage service.

You'll set up and deliver orders, maintain sanitation, handle VIP amenities, and coordinate with the banquet and service teams to support sales opportunities while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with company guidelines.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Service all hospitality suites per Banquet Event Orders and policies.
• Complete shift side work as outlined in operating policies.
