InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Room Service Attendant to deliver and serve food and beverages to hotel guests' rooms in Houston, TX. The role includes taking orders, upselling, and maintaining the room service area and equipment.

You will work nights/weekends/holidays as needed, with opportunities to contribute to guest satisfaction and service excellence in a premier hotel group.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills and food service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move about the kitchen.
• Reading and writing orders, handling cash and credit transactions.
• Alcohol awareness certification or health/food handler card as required by local/state law.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and serve food and beverages to hotel guests' rooms.
• Take orders by phone and record; use upselling techniques to increase sales.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate VIP deliveries with other departments.
• Describe menu items and accommodate special requests; stock service station.
• May assist with other duties and perform set-up/closing side-work.
