Job summary

Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Hotel Rooms Controller to manage room availability, optimize occupancy, and uphold guest satisfaction. The role requires coordination with front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure room readiness and accurate status updates.

You will monitor reservations and cancellations in the property management system, forecast demand, adjust inventory, and prepare occupancy and revenue reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel operations, reservations, or room management is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels to optimize hotel revenue.
• Coordinate with front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and address issues promptly.
• Update and maintain accurate records of room status, bookings, and cancellations in the property management system.
• Assist in forecasting room demand and adjusting inventory accordingly.
• Handle guest inquiries related to reservations and room availability professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators for management review.
