Job summary

Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support operation, maintenance and repair of equipment across the property. You will participate in preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests and complete work orders, while performing trades such as carpentry, painting and plumbing.

Driving shuttle duties may be required. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, and a trade license is preferred; a valid driver's license and clean

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade license preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license required and MVR acceptable.
• Hotel or related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and equipment (light fixtures, painting, minor repairs).
• Perform plumbing, laundry equipment, exhaust fans, and other minor repairs.
• Address alarms and report to the Front Desk with findings.
• Handle guest requests and other work orders as assigned by supervisor/manager.
