Job summary

Westlake is seeking a sales professional to drive growth in the Sacramento territory for Westlake Royal Building Products - Roofing Solutions. You will develop consultative relationships with distributors, builders, and roofing professionals, aiming to expand market share and meet profitability targets.

The ideal candidate has direct sales experience in building products, strong negotiation and relationship skills, and the ability to travel as needed in the Sacramento corridor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual a plus (Spanish).
• Direct sales experience preferred; building product sales experience preferred.
• Excellent negotiating skills and strong relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with existing customers.
• Sell concrete and clay roofing products to defined segments to achieve targets.
• Work with architects to have products specified in planning documents.
• Interpret data from lead generation, industry data, and market research.
• Drive performance to increase market share, sales growth, and ASP.
• Develop territory plans to meet business goals.
• Maintain positive customer relations through regular meetings.
• Coordinate with accounting to keep receivables current.
