Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products – Roofing Solutions is seeking a sales professional for the Sacramento region. The ideal candidate will build consultative relationships with distributors, builders, and contractors to expand market share for concrete and clay roofing products and system components.

You will develop territory plans, work with architects, and coordinate trade shows and demonstrations. Some overnight travel is required, with a focus on delivering revenue targets and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual a plus (Spanish).
• Direct sales or building products sales preferred.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Enthusiastic, self-starter with good interpersonal skills.
• Consultative mind-set, solution-oriented selling.
• MS Office suite (Teams & Outlook 365).
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP or other deal desks.
• Valid US driver’s license and insurability required.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with existing customers.
• Sell roofing products to achieve targets in defined segments.
• Work with architects so products are specified in plans.
• Interpret data from lead generation and market research.
• Drive product performance to increase market share and sales.
• Develop territory plans to meet business goals.
• Maintain positive customer relations through regular meetings.
• Coordinate jobsite visits and product demonstrations.
• Travel for training and client meetings as required.
