Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. seeks a Quality Control Specialist to educate crews nationwide and oversee large self-performed roofing projects from start to finish, performing inspections and providing training on roof coatings and installations.

The role includes pre- and post-project inspections, on-site safety audits, and technical support, with travel across the region and beyond as needed. OSHA 30 is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
Prior experience in a field service leadership role.
Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and internal business systems).
In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products. Intimate knowledge of our product line.
Autonomous role requiring self-motivation and initiative.
Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
Experience working with various types of technology and software.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper execution and delivery of all roofing work.
Provide technical and application training sessions in field and shop settings.
Hands-on training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
Attend pre-cons and be present at job start-ups; inspect and advise; aim for zero-punch lists.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support (peel tests, product testing, recommendations, proper installations).
Post-project inspections to ensure quality workmanship and proper material use.
Conduct roof inspections with written reports and photo documentation.
On-site safety audits and coordination with safety team.
