UofL Health is seeking an ROI Technician II to process release of information requests from outside facilities, attorneys, and government bodies. You will safeguard patient privacy and ensure releases meet HIPAA and state laws, while maintaining accurate records and responding within mandated timeframes.

You will use the Electronic Health Record system and ROI tracking tools, retrieve records, and collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver timely, compliant material while

Competenze

• High School education required.
• 5 years’ experience in release of information.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and PHI privacy.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Process ROI requests including attorney subpoenas and court orders.
• Meet productivity standards for 7–10 business days turnaround.
• Maintain knowledge of ROI authorizations and subpoenas.
• Retrieve and upload medical records per requests and procedures.
• Operate ROI tracking and basic office equipment.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers.
