MRO Corporation is seeking an ROI Specialist to support at a client site by processing Release of Information requests for patient records in compliance with HIPAA.

You will determine records to release, review requester information, log requests into ROI On-Line, and respond to phone and walk-in inquiries with accuracy and discretion.

The role requires data entry skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and a dependable work ethic as you support physicians and facilities nationwide.

Competenze

• One or more years of data entry experience; internet use required.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication and customer inquiry response skills.
• Detail-oriented with a reliable work ethic.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred; experience in ROI is a plus.

Mansioni

• Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Respond to walk-in customers requesting medical records and log data into ROI On-Line.
• Process physician office requests on a priority basis and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical record requests into ROI On-Line.
• Handle cash payments at specified sites and comply with policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
