Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support at client sites for Release of Information requests. You will review requests and determine records for release in accordance with HIPAA, pulling data from various sources to match patient requests.

You will also answer ROI-related calls, assist walk-in customers, log and scan requests into the ROI On-Line database, and process physician requests with faxing as needed. A strong eye for detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of data entry experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Knowledge of HIPAA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review requests and determine records for release per HIPAA.
• Answer calls regarding ROI issues and assist walk-in customers.
• Log and scan requests into ROI On-Line database.
• Process physician requests and fax information as needed.
• Handle cash payments at sites where applicable.
