MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support client-site Release of Information requests. You will review requests, determine records to release under HIPAA, and gather patient data from electronic or physical sources.

You\'ll handle ROI On-Line logging, respond to inquiries by phone or walk-ins, assist physician offices, and ensure accuracy while complying with policies. The role may involve cash handling at certain sites and offers an opportunity to contribute to a nationwide service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determines records to release by reviewing requests per HIPAA and obtaining patient data.
• Answers phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Responds to walk-in customers and logs information into ROI On-Line database.
• Processes physician office requests and faxes information as needed.
• Logs and scans medical records into ROI On-Line database.
• Complies with site policies and handles cash payments where required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
