Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to provide on-site support at client facilities for release of information requests. You will review requests, gather patient data, and ensure HIPAA compliance while maintaining accurate records in ROI On‑Line.

Responsibilities include handling inbound calls, assisting walk-in customers, logging and scanning requests, and processing physician-office requests. The role emphasizes accuracy, dependability, and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years of data entry experience in computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication skills with customer service experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to be released by reviewing requests and HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls and handle ROI inquiries.
• Assist walk-in customers and log information into ROI On‑Line database.
• Process requests from physician offices and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical records into ROI On‑Line database.
• Ensure compliance with site policies and regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments for requests at applicable sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
