Salem Media is seeking a high-energy Account Executive in Riverside to drive new business growth across our radio, digital, podcasts, and events portfolio. You will combine prospecting with digital marketing expertise to deliver ROI-focused solutions for local and regional businesses.
The role requires 3+ years in B2B sales with a proven track record, strong digital knowledge, and a consultative selling approach.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in business development, B2B sales, or media/digital advertising Sales.
- Proven track record of exceeding new business goals.
- Strong digital knowledge: SEM, SEO, programmatic, OTT/CTV, social media, email marketing.
- Consultative selling approach with strong communication.
- CRM proficiency and data analysis capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Aggressively prospect and close new accounts through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Design customized, integrated marketing strategies across traditional and digital platforms.
- Present compelling, data-driven proposals demonstrating clear ROI.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Build strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast pipeline.
- Stay current on trends and competitive landscape.
