Job summary

Gil-Mar Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to build and maintain relationships with procurement and engineering teams, identify sales opportunities, and provide technical expertise to support the sales process.

You will work to develop and execute strategic account plans, collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to prepare compelling proposals, and lead negotiations to close contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Technical sales or business development experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within client’s supply chain by staying informed about product needs and upcoming projects.
• Demonstrate deep understanding ofGil-Mar Automotive parts and how they align with client requirements; provide technical advice and recommendations.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy and account plan with target setting, forecasting, and action plans to achieve sales objectives and revenue.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and quotations that align with client needs and pricing expectations.
• Conduct negotiations with client procurement teams to secure contracts and close deals.
• Act as a technical liaison between client and organization, addressing post-sales inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Consult with customers to identify challenges and provide solutions; communicate ROI of Gil-Mar offerings.
• Travel to meet client teams, attend industry events, and visit manufacturing facilities as needed.
