Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service a designated customer location in Rochester, NH. The role includes stocking and merchandising products on shelves, supporting resets, and executing Home Store and cycle programs with the sales team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in retail, a valid driver’s license, strong organizational skills, and the ability to read planograms. Travel up to 95% and vehicle use are expected.

Qualifications

• High School degree required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Auto Insurance levels that meet UNFI requirements.
• Minimum 1-year related experience in Retail or Distribution.
• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Food related product experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement planograms in store.
• Visit retailers on Home Store or Field Sales program on a provided schedule.
• Rotate stock and remove out-of-code products.
• Interpret and facilitate internal reports related to assigned project.
• Seize opportunities to increase sales through merchandising.
• Maintain effective business relations with customers and UNFI stakeholders.
• Order products that align with customer needs and display them in stores.
• Develop and implement action plans with assistance from Supervisor or Account Manager.
• Positively engage customers on the Professional Services Portfolio.
