Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to provide consistent service at assigned locations, stock shelves, and support resets and promotions. You will interpret planograms, visit retailers on a provided schedule, and maintain strong customer and UNFI relationships while aligning products to customer needs.

Travel is required up to 95% with daily vehicle travel; a high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, along with basic computer skills and strong organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance as per policy.
• Experience in retail or distribution helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read, implement and adjust planograms in store, report planogram feedback.
• Visit retailers on Home Store or Field Sales program on schedule and provide feedback.
• Rotate stock, handle returns and issue credits per policy.
• Interpret internal reports and complete paperwork accurately.
• Promote sales through merchandising techniques and promotions.
• Maintain relationships with customers and UNFI stakeholders through in-person, phone, and email interactions.
