Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to provide in-store stock and merchandising support for assigned customers, including planogram execution and store resets. The role requires travel, strong organization, and proactive customer engagement to drive sales programs.

The position emphasizes independence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple store visits with effective communication to internal teams. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School degree required.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Auto Insurance levels that meet UNFI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement planograms in store.
• Visit retailers on Home Store or Field Sales program to execute customer plans.
• Rotate stock and remove out-of-code products; process returns and credits.
• Interpret and facilitate internal reports related to the project.
• Engage customers to strengthen UNFI relationships and promote programs.
• Order products aligned with customer needs and display them in stores.
• Develop action plans with supervision to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Engage customers on the Professional Services Portfolio.
