Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service Worcester, MA and surrounding areas. You will stock and merchandize products, implement planograms, and support resets and promotional programs at customer locations.

The role requires travel up to 95%, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and strong organizational skills. A High School diploma and valid driver's license are required, with basic Microsoft Office skills to report on activities.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and implement planograms at store locations.
• Visit retailers to execute customer-specific plans and provide feedback.
• Rotate stock and manage product returns according to policy.
• Interpret and complete internal reports and paperwork on time.
• Seize opportunities to increase sales through merchandising and promotions.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and UNFI stakeholders via in-person, phone, and email communication.
• Order products that meet customer needs and display them effectively in-store.
• Develop action plans with supervision on assigned projects and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
• Engage customers with UNFI's Professional Services portfolio to strengthen relationships.
