Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of relevant software engineering in robotics.
  • Strong C++ and Python proficiency.
  • Experience with ROS 2.
  • Ability to design, integrate, test, and debug complex software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own architecture, integration, and maintenance of the common robotics software stack.
  • Develop interfaces and configurations for multiple robot platforms.
  • Define abstractions for robot capabilities, sensing, data collection.
  • Evaluate and adopt new robotics software frameworks.
  • Coordinate with researchers and hardware engineer for deployment readiness.
  • Develop ROS 2 packages and deployment tooling.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex software failures across layers.
  • Design architectures for evolving experimental components.
  • Support AI/ML components running locally or remotely.
