Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field related to robotics or engineering.
  • 2+ years experience in robotics, autonomous or complex systems.
  • Proficient in Python and C++ or equivalent.
  • Experience with ROS 2 and sensor/embedded integration.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own hardware and software integration, readiness, maintenance and field deployment of mobile robotic platforms.
  • Develop and maintain standardized platform configurations for HERO sites.
  • Coordinate with researchers to ensure platforms support scientific goals.
  • Establish procedures for setup, calibration, configuration, inspection and repair.
  • Document platform configurations and support replication across sites.
