Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as CS/EE/CE/ME/Robotics.
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience with robotic or complex electromechanical systems.
  • Programming in Python and C++ for robotics.
  • Experience with ROS2 and hardware-software integration.

Responsibilities

  • Own hardware and software integration for HERO deployments.
  • Develop standardized platform configurations for replication across HERO sites.
  • Coordinate with researchers to ensure platforms meet scientific goals.
  • Maintain safe, reliable, and deployable robotic platforms across sites.
  • Document configurations, BOMs, installation guides, and reference manuals.
  • Troubleshoot site hardware issues and coordinate with local personnel.
