Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Operations Process Engineer (Capital System) to support the OTTAVA Surgical Robotic Platform on a fully onsite basis. You will help integrate robotic subsystems, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, Quality, NPI Engineering, and R&D teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on shop-floor testing, system integration, and root-cause analysis to ensure production continuity and quality compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
0-4 years of relevant engineering experience; internships or projects may count.
Hands-on engineering testing, system integration, scripting, or troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret test results and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level failures.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Test and System Integration Support: ensure uninterrupted operations and support system integration and test.
Test Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: investigate failures, troubleshoot hardware/software, document findings and coordinate with teams.
Quality and Compliance: support change controls, CAPAs, NCRs, and related quality activities.
