Job summary
Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Operations Process Engineer (Capital System) to support the OTTAVA Surgical Robotic Platform on a fully onsite basis in Santa Clara, CA. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and NPI Engineering to maintain production continuity and integrate robotic subsystems.
You will troubleshoot test failures, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to quality system execution and CAPAs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 0‑4 years of relevant engineering experience; internships may count.
- Hands‑on experience with engineering testing, system integration, scripting, or troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret test results and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system failures.
- Basic scripting, preferably Python, and ability to read/debug scripts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Test and System Integration support to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Test troubleshooting and root cause analysis for test hardware, software, and interfaces.
- Quality and compliance activities including change controls and CAPAs; document findings.
