DoorDash Labs in the Bay Area is seeking an Associate Operations Manager to lead a robotics operations team, ensuring efficient execution and maximizing potential across in-office and field work.

You will report to the Operations Manager, CA, collaborate with cross-functional partners, manage 10–50 staff, and drive KPI tracking and incident response. This role requires a proactive, “1% better every day” mindset and deep robotics expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in operations or robotics.
• Experience leading a team of 10–50 in a fast-paced setting.
• Deep expertise in autonomous vehicles and/or robotics.

Responsibilities

• Rigorously track daily KPIs and maximize output and availability of supply.
• Build relationships with leadership and a co-located service team to motivate the group.
• Incorporate, adopt and refine daily/weekly processes for real-time operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand current state and resource allocation.
• Contribute creative operational solutions to complex technical problems.
• Provide onsite leadership for incident response when deviations occur.
• Bring clarity to uncertainty to enable tactical and strategic decision making.
