Job summary

DoorDash Labs, the independent robotics-focused team within DoorDash, is seeking an Associate Operations Manager to lead a field-enabled operations group across the Bay Area. You will report to the CA Operations Manager and roam between in-office and in-field responsibilities, with some travel to new markets as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience.
• Experience leading a team of 10-50 people.
• Deep experience in autonomous vehicles and/or robotics.
• Strong communication skills; able to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Rigorously track daily KPIs and collaborate with operations to maximize output and supply availability.
• Build relationships with the Operations Manager, leads and co-located service teams to drive cohesive performance.
• Define and refine daily/weekly processes for real-time operations with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with remote assistance, TPM, facilities, engineering and other stakeholders to understand state of operations and resource allocation.
• Provide onsite leadership for incident response when things don’t meet expectations.
