Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of a client facility, focusing on safe operation of material handling equipment and robotic systems. You will repair, maintain and improve facility systems and document preventative maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office Suite.
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE, including belts, motors, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.
