Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of building systems inside a client facility. You will repair and improve material handling equipment and automated packaging and distribution systems.

The role requires safety-minded hands-on work, 1 year of related experience, and proficiency with MS Office and basic tools. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs is expected. Health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year related experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform routine maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE and conveyors.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Document preventative maintenance activities.
• Track and manage department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
