Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to maintain and improve material handling equipment and robotic systems inside a client facility. You will support repair, calibration, and preventative maintenance while ensuring alignment with safety standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical work, strong problem-solving, and ability to work with CMMS and standard office software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience or training.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to solve problems and follow general instructions in standard situations.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE and robotics.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with clients and operations teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
