Job summary

Tutor Intelligence is seeking a technically strong Customer Engineer to own how our robotic systems behave in the real world, working at the boundary between product and operations and turning messy system behavior into clear understanding and improvements.

You will partner with customers, Customer Success, and our R&D team to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and drive fixes that scale across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in robotics, automation, or complex hardware-software systems
• Hands-on experience with real-world robotic systems
• Strong systems thinking and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to operate end-to-end in unstructured environments

Responsibilities

• Own real-world system behavior across environments and product types
• Lead complex system investigations using logs, telemetry, and on-site context
• Drive root-cause fixes and prevent recurrence across the fleet
• Identify patterns and translate them into product fixes or new capabilities
• Collaborate with R&D to test hypotheses and validate fixes in production
• Engage directly with customers in high-impact situations
