Tutor Intelligence seeks a technically strong Customer Engineer to own how robotic systems behave in real‑world environments. You’ll work at the boundary of product and reality, partnering with customers, Customer Success, and R&D to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive scalable fixes.

You’ll work across perception, motion, hardware, and operations to turn complex problems into clear insights and durable improvements across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in robotics or hardware‑software systems.
• Hands-on experience with real‑world robotic systems.
• Strong systems thinking across software, hardware and real environments.
• Ability to diagnose ambiguities using logs and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Own real‑world system behavior across environments and product types.
• Lead complex system investigations across perception, motion, hardware, and operations.
• Drive root cause and system‑level fixes across the fleet.
• Identify patterns and translate into product fixes or new capabilities.
• Collaborate with R&D to test hypotheses and deploy fixes in production.
• Engage with customers in high‑impact situations with technical credibility.
• Develop tools and playbooks to improve diagnostics and resolution.
