Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems at customer sites across manufacturing environments. You will apply mechanical and electrical expertise, integrate robotic cells, and ensure equipment performance aligns with production goals.

Expect extensive travel (75%+), hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Technical training or certification in engineering tech or related field.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in manufacturing equipment.
• Willingness to travel 75% or more to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system with proficiency in robotic kinematics and dynamics.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems and sensors.
• Accurately manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on automation equipment and cells, both locally and at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to facilitate engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance and ensure precise part fit-up.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues promptly.
