Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems and automation equipment at customer sites.

You will travel extensively (75%+), perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues and optimize performance. Strong mechanical, electrical, and programming aptitude is required.

Qualifications

• Technical training or equivalent in engineering tech.
• Hands-on experience in designing, assembling, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English; Spanish desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system with precision.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on automation equipment.
• Record and analyze data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance and ensure precise part fit-up.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
• Travel to customer sites 75% or more to install and service equipment.
