Job summary

Path Robotics seeks a highly skilled Field Service Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems and automation equipment across customer sites.

You will work with mechanical and electrical subsystems, provide preventive maintenance, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues. Fluency in English is standard; travel is extensive and essential to the role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes.
• Comfortable learning and using programming languages.
• Detail-oriented with handling small components.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites.
• Record and analyze data to support issue resolution.
• Monitor cell performance and ensure precise part fit-up.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Travel extensively to customer sites (75%+).
