Job summary

Path Robotics seeks a Field Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot advanced robotic welding systems across manufacturing sites. You’ll handle mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic subsystems, and work closely with engineering to resolve issues.

This role requires travel 75%+ to customer sites, hands-on fabrication experience, and comfort with learning new programming basics. We value bilingual communication and initiative.

Qualifications

• Technical training or associate degree in engineering tech.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes.
• Ability to learn programming languages.
• Fluency in English; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a multi-robotic welding system with robotic vision.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies with precision.
• Manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automation equipment.
• Record data to support engineering-driven issue resolution.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering to optimize performance.
• Travel to customer sites up to 75%+.
