10Beauty is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro‑mechanical systems at customer sites. This field‑based role covers NYC and Northern New Jersey, with travel to other states as needed.

You will represent the company in salons, retail stores, and hotels, delivering high‑quality service. Qualifications include 2–4 years in field service or related roles, experience with motors, actuators, sensors, Raspberry Pi/Arduino, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, EE Tech, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years in field service or related role; internship or capstone projects acceptable.
• Experience troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems (motors, actuators, sensors, Raspberry Pi, Arduino).
• Experience with Linux or Raspberry Pi (navigation, logs, ssh).
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, basic switches/routers.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair electro‑mechanical and networked systems at customer sites (salons, stores, hotels).
• Diagnose hardware, software, electrical, and network issues with systematic methods.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to identify root causes and fixes.
• Maintain service records and field documentation; manage parts and tools.
• Coordinate with remote teams for escalation and specialized support.
