Job summary

Agile Robots is seeking a technically skilled Robot Service & Support Engineer to serve as the primary technical lead for customer deployments. You will install, commission, diagnose, and resolve complex issues with robotic systems, working closely with R&D and customers to ensure reliable operation in real-world environments.

The role requires hands-on repair, independent root-cause analysis, strong communication, and field service experience across the U.S. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Experience diagnosing electromechanical systems essential.
• Ability to travel regionally and across the U.S. for on-site service and installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, diagnose, and resolve complex robotic system issues at customer deployments.
• Lead on-site and in-house service engagements and perform component-level replacements.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs to improve hardware longevity.
• Perform root-cause analysis using schematics, test data, and diagnostic logs.
• Create lessons learned reports and service notes; contribute to knowledge base.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and R&D to feed field findings into product improvements.
• Define service kit and spare-parts requirements and ensure diagnostic tools remain calibrated.
