Job summary

Ati Robotics seeks an Engineering – Service & Support professional to deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot AMR solutions at customer sites across the United States. You will combine robotics engineering with customer-facing technical support, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure reliable deployments and system performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on AMR work, integration, and ongoing service, with frequent travel and on-site demonstrations to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in robotics, systems integration, field service engineering, or industrial automation.
• Travel: Frequent travel across the U.S., with occasional travel to Canada and Mexico
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Hands-on experience with AMRs, AGVs, or industrial robotic systems.
• Proficiency in Linux, Python, and C/C++.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, firmware, sensor integration, and hardware-software troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SLAM-based navigation, robot localization, fleet management, and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission AMRs at customer sites.
• Assess customer workflows and facility layouts for deployment planning.
• Validate robot navigation, fleet coordination, and system performance.
• Diagnose hardware, software, firmware, and integration issues via logs.
• Perform root-cause analysis, firmware updates, and sensor calibration.
• Use Python, C/C++, and Linux tools for debugging and validation.
• Provide on-site and remote support during deployments and ramp-up.
• Conduct demonstrations and train customers on AMR operation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to improve reliability.
• Maintain service reports, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.
• Travel frequently across the U.S., with occasional visits to Canada and Mexico.
