Job summary
RobCo Inc. is seeking a Robotics Support Engineer to join our US on-site team. You will be the foundational technical expert on the ground in North America, driving end-to-end service and support for robotic systems in industrial environments.
As the first regional solutions engineer, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix hardware and software issues, read Python code, and work with PLCs and field protocols. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure reliable, scalable automation.
Qualifications
- Vocational training or degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, CS, or Robotics.
- Several years of field service or solutions engineering experience in robotics.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and electrics.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end service and support operations across the US.
- Hands-on solutions engineering during ramp-up.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on robotic systems.
- Read and debug Python code and interface with machine protocols.
- Prioritize and manage field escalations in a fast-paced scale-up.
- Document bugs and requirements for engineering teams.
