Job summary

Serve Robotics is seeking an Operations Associate to ensure the smooth performance of our autonomous delivery robots. You will assist robots in the field, perform light maintenance like sensor cleaning, and help ensure on-time deliveries.

You’ll work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and customer support to manage deployments and safety initiatives. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to drive mid-size vehicles, lifting up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable driving mid-size utility vehicles.
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering items up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with customers professionally.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operations require.
• Experience with Jira and Slack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field readiness by supporting robots, ensuring timely response and coordination.
• Assist in deployment processes including preparation, inspection, cleaning and placement of robots.
• Track, document, and close escalation tickets with clear communication and records.
• Operate company vehicles safely to move, recover, or reposition robotic units.
• Prioritize safety and escalate critical events as needed.
• Manage end-of-shift recovery by securing and charging robotic assets and equipment.
• Handle and store company-issued tools and protective gear properly.
