Job summary

Serve Robotics is seeking an Operations Associate to ensure the smooth, reliable performance of our autonomous delivery robots in the field. You’ll assist robots, perform light maintenance like cleaning sensors, and help ensure on-time deliveries.

You’ll collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer support to manage deployments, escalate issues, and support safety and training initiatives. A valid driver’s license and flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive mid-size vehicles.
• Comfortable performing light maintenance and sensor cleaning.
• Experience engaging with customers professionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and Slack for communication.
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field readiness by supporting robots and ensuring timely response.
• Assist in deployment processes including preparation, inspection, and placement.
• Track and document escalation tickets with clear communications.
• Operate company vehicles safely to move or reposition robots as needed.
• Prioritize safety and escalate critical events appropriately.
• Manage end-of-shift recovery by securing and accounting for equipment.
• Handle, maintain, and store tools and protective gear properly.

Skills
